Oh, Bron [runic], I don't know how to say this, knowing that you will never respond, or even know that I have, but somehow I think you will. I am tearing up as I write this, at seven thirty in the morning, knowing that I will never get to talk to you again, or see any of your new drawings, or collaborate with you on mangas.

Today, I found out that my friend Bron had a heart attack on Sunday and died three days later after being taken off intensive care. She went peacefully. Know that she was surrounded by her family and her real life friends, and died in a place of love to go on to a better place.

I am tearing up as a write this, because this seems to be to me, a senseless passing. She was twenty two, and had within the last year finished her art degree in university. She had her whole life ahead of her.

One of the things I personally feel so terrible about is our collaboration. We began manga collaboration back in 2002, and this year we were going to try again. Contained in this gallery are the character art she did for our manga. The girls with the bicolored eyes are our girls. It will never be completed, I do not believe. If anyone reading this is interested in drawing the manga, I will be glad to send you the concept of it, and even write it with you, to ensure that it is completed. If you want to do so, please contact "ritalin" on minitokyo, as she is one of my closest friends and I do not come here much.

So thank you, Bron, for sharing with all of us your art, your beauty and your wit and humor. Thank you for making the world a more beautiful place and thank you for touching us all. I only hope you can do the same in heaven.

i understand that this is sort of random, and that you may not have even seen AIR before ^^; But this is just my invitation extended to those who we think may add to the overall quality of the contest, so feel free to pay as little/much attention to it as you'd like. Since you are a member of the doujinshi-support-club, I would like to inform you about the new changes going around there. We have been discussing this in the GB of the group but we also want to know your opinion! So here it is:

1st .- The Monthly Doujinshi Display -->

We are now putting up the Monthly Doujinshi Display Corner for those who wish to see their artworks displayed and those who wants their doujins to improve. The idea is this:

[1]To submit your doujins along with your link via PM to any of those in charge to display the doujins. (Right now:ephemeral-garden and pegassuss)
[2]Volunteers are needed to be in charge of the displays. Volunteers should be used to toggling HTMLs, so those who're interested in helping out, please PM ephemeral-garden and pegassuss.

2nd .- 'The artist of the Month' -->

After 1 month, if there is enough doujinshis that have been displayed, we'll have our Doujinshi Artist of the Month. Every member of the group will then vote for one artist to be 'the artist of the month' by posting them in the guestbook of the doujinshi group, or if you prefer you can PM your decision to pegassuss (if you wish to help count votes just say it!). Judges are not restricted to anyone in this group, anyone can vote for their favourite artist of the month by posting them in the guestbook. If you're still confused on what I'm trying to say, ask ephemeral-garden or pegassuss straight in the face!.

Please read the following statement before:
- There will be no judges, everyone will be able to give their opinion and vote by posting in the GB of the group the name of the artist who, in their opinion, is the best one, or the one who has made the most substantial improvements. Several persons will be then, in charge of counting the votes. (collaborators needed!)

- There will be a month to vote, so everybody will have time to think and see the piece of work with no hurry. Don't wait until the end! ^_~

- Once one artist has been elected 'artist of the month' it will not be possible to choose him/her again, at least, not until an agreed period of time, because if not, we run the risk of seeing the same artist every month, and that is not the purpose of this idea.

These are the basic ideas, if you want to collaborate, to give your opinion or anything, please feel free to post in the GB! We hope to see you around there being active!

yeah hasn't hisano changed in the last year. The very first pic i draw a year ago and very one fell in love with it. A year later and thats how much my drawing style changes. Hey Rune, sorry that I am now just getting back to you, been through things since we talked last. Well, I should have been abit more specific, I should have said the style has changed some. That's what I meant by she has changed. Hmm, my style has changed as well, but I am stil having trouble trying to find a definitive style of my won, and certain ways I want my characters to look. I'm working on some things right now,at the moment a new pic of my Emi charcter for my lil sis, but I am style having trouble trying to make it look right. I can't every seem to get the 3/4's perspective just right and I alwasy seem to have the eyes closer together than what they should be. Even thoguh I have improved some,I'm still not where I need to be, or should be. I'll keep trying though. Anyway, hoep to hear from ya again. catch ya later z and have a good day
